Strange Country

Sometimes you need to have a glass of wine, cuppa whatever and listen to a good old weird story. Musical score Resting Place by A Cast of Thousands.

Feb 28, 2019

Journalist Stephen Glass just seemed to have a knack for being in the craziest scenarios surrounded by the most quote-worthy subjects. He wrote about working for a psychic hotline, finding a George H. W. Bush cult and attending a hacker's convention to the delight of his editors at The New Republic. Trouble was, it was all a steaming pile of horse doo. Glass made it all up. Strange Country co-hosts Beth and Kelly discuss their own reporting experiences while shattering Glass's tale of lies and Kelly finds a new motivation for working out.

Theme music: Resting Place by A Cast of Thousands.
